What are you wearing right now?
White T-shirt and Heron Preston black biker shorts. I love to wear and support my good friend Heron Preston who is all about sustainability.
How do you restyle the same outfit for another day?
I try to reuse pieces and play around, like one of my favorite corsets, I could wear it with dressy pants or a skirt and it looks completely different.
Closet item that has been passed on to you? you will pass on to your children?
My emerald earrings and my jewelry.
Do you uniform dress? If so, what is your go to weekday outfit if you’re running to a casting or audition? Weekend? Night out?
I have a uniform. I always wear high waisted jeans and a white T or white tank top for audition. I rarely wear colors, but for summer it’s a must in my closet. I personally think that I understand what looks good on me and what makes me feel confident. For weekends and nights out I play around with outfits and accessories, I always try to keep it minimal chic but sexy at the same time. My number one rule is that I need to feel confident. For example, I know what my good points are, I have good legs, so I show them.
If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life what would it be?
Black pants and a white T.
Do you wear a lot of vintage? Favorite spot to buy vintage?
Yes, I do and I love it! Most of it is accessories and jackets. My favorite spots in NY are Procell, New York Vintage, Albright [Fashion Library], and in LA I love Decades. Sami Miro is also the queen of Vintage, I always love to wear some of her pieces.
What do you do with closet items you have grown tired of?
I give it to my sisters or friends so they can wear it. When I do my annual spring cleaning, I go to the goodwill in New York and give away pieces I won’t wear anymore. I usually keep most of my accessories as treasures.
What is one piece every woman should own?
A vintage piece that defines them and means something special to them.
